I just want this thing on the road. I've sent an e-mail to SMS along with pics. Will see what they say. The first pic is of the bottom and you can see the 4" added at the very bottom.
Anyway, it's getting close to being on the road and I'm excited! Just have to drop on the front clip, hook everything up and break in the engine.
Slowly but slowly...........

There are two different bench seats, one is thicker than the other. You must have the thick seat and the cover is for the thinner one.

The problem with that is after several months waiting, SMS E-mailed me and wanted my old seat cover! AFTER I e-mailed them pics. I boxed up the ENTIRE cover, top & bottom, and shipped it to them. They had all dimensions and pattern. I can't complain on the pattern, but I had already bought foams that should have worked. Had to buy others.
It looks good, and is comfortable, so I'm gonna leave it. Still not happy with the gap...

Re: Seat Covers

Ok guys, help me out here. I’m on the hunt for a year correct bench for my 68. What years are a match (thick vs thin foam)?

Second question, should I be ordering the cover from SMS direct or cars inc? I couldn’t quite follow in the comments. I am looking for a 68 factory red vinyl.

I don’t mind waiting, or paying a premium. I am just not sure who you guys recommend I buy from.

From what I gather it sound like SMS may be the way to go.
