41 windshield opening

For an always rust belt truck, this is the cleanest windshield opening I have had yet. This is a 41 1 1/2 ton cab that I believe had the cab top replaced sometime in its life. The windshield posts seams had been leaded and underneath the lead were spot welds. They had use house shingle roof cement to seal the top of the windshield rubber to the cab top of which I removed then sandblasted the truck. You are looking at the sandblasted surface around the windshield. I melted out the leading before sandblasting because rust had lifted some of it then had it blasted. I welded the seams solid then I use jb weld if I think the metal may be thin before I use bondo.

It needs all 4 cab corners of which I have one done and 3 ordered. Doors are typical for the rust belt and need new bottom inner sills, next-up inner brace and 1/2 skins. Being a dump truck in its life the top had big dents which I am working out.
