where do you plan on putting your fuel cell? how big?
do you think it will interfere with running your exhaust as well?

sorry for the lack of updates. we are using the stock S-10 gas tank. it fits.
progress. well its been a while since i update this build, lots of wiring and finalizing loose ends ext. got some sheet metal on the truck along with a new grill and put her on the ground to check out the stance. i think its on the money. cab corners needed repair...   hopefully soon all the other loose ends will be wrapped up and this thing will be running and driving around. |

been focused on my Shoebox and not really updating this build as much as i should. well the brakes are finished, the motor turns on so now we just need to fit the doors and hood along with putting a fan for the motor and install the driveshaft. front and rear glass is new and installed, once the doors are working they to get new glass and door seals. the interior work is about done; seat carpet headliner and door cards are all done up in matching green with contrasting white. the steering wheel is not shown in the pictures but its new and getting painted in white to match. the dash has all new gauges and chrome on the fresh paint so inside should be neat to drive around in.

been working on wrapping this truck up since i got back from my Cali trip.
stripped it down some and prepared it for a quicky paint job...  after sealing the truck with black epoxy primer, Leo sprayed it with a red oxide primer color, but its actually single stage paint color matched to look like primer...  then over it we sprayed the truck's original color...  because ever panel on the truck is banged up, we decided that a patina look would be the most effective way to finish this truck and make it enjoyable...    more pics coming soon. going to logo the doors with the owner's company and weather them to match. |

here is another one i just wrapped up. this time its a 50 long bed. the owner wanted to use it around the shop for deliveries. rewired the truck, made it 12 volt, installed new glass and seals along with a grill and some tailights, lots of little do dats. then we decided on making it a bit more uniform, so a patina style paint job using gray and blue was applied and now the truck has that old barn feel but its a solid driver to make the deliveries and use that he needs. door logos are next as soon as he gives me the layout.

it really depends, anywhere from 120 - 320. some areas you have to work lots of paint off and some areas i try and spray a little thing to make it easier.
