mirror options
i was going thru a book on task force trucks and saw some outside mirror options i had never seen before
all the pics in the book are period pics, no modified in the 70s pics ![]() this looks like the stock pass mirror mounted on the cowl ![]() this is a stock gm peap mirror for when you have the fender mounted spare i've owned many trucks with a fender mounted spare and have never seen one, but they all had the holes for it ![]()

Those clamp on peep mirrors are next to useless going down the road. The replacement doors I have for my 71 have the holes to bolt the mirror stalks on that are similar to the top photo and I think I am gong to use them even though the doors came off a 67/69 or so truck. Solid simiple and the truck trinket brigade have stainless brackets for 22 bucks each.
