Yes exactly. Finger wiping on the plates, the valve covers and the vise from those pics.

Thanks! This is the plate I am thinking of restoring before I put it on the truck...certainly is in good shape, but would look really good restored.

For sure it would. Plates are VERY time consuming, I would guess 20-30 minutes just in finger wiping for your one plate. Plus you'll need to plan on how you're going to hang and hold the plate while you do the wiping so it doesn't move around on you.
