Titling Louisiana Truck in Texas

I just purchased a truck from Louisiana and the back of that title has a place for witness signatures and a notary. Texas titles do not require those items. Would I still have to have witnesses and notarized on the back of the Louisiana title before Texas will grant me a title? Thanks

You're going to get 50 replies from people who live in every state other than TX or LA and waste lots of time reading worthless info...
Do a web search, locate the TX DMV and read up on out of state title transfers. Ok, I'm bored: https://www.txdmv.gov/motorists/buyi...reign-vehicles

Re: Titling Louisiana Truck in Texas

I am going to say without a doubt, having bought 2 trucks from Oklahoma(which requires notary) and titling them in Texas. They do not care about the notary when you go to the Tax Office to transfer the title.

Editing to add - First truck I got the title notarized in OK because the sellers mother was a notary and when I got to the tax office they said they didn't care. 2nd Truck, No Notary, No Problem.
