Re: Used Parts Build
Had a mad dash to get my truck ready for the C10 Intervention which included a 2 hour drive to get there. I rode up with the local C10 club to increase the likelihood someone would pull over to help if I did break down. A picture before I left.
I didnt get any pics while I was there. Only issues I ran into is that the cab is a god damn oven with no insulation and my original differential vent was too low and sprayed my truck down with gear oil by the time I got home. It seemed like a lot but was probably a bit more than half a quart when I refilled it. Ill flush it out again just incase and hope for the best. No issues or noises yet. Made a new vent for now. Drew up some more stuff in CAD and had it cut. Used silicon bronze to braze up the bend reliefs. None of it will really be seen but I polished the stainless to try to get the bronze to show through. This is the mount for the remote control holder.

Re: Used Parts Build
This truck is awesome, really like the silicon brass stuff . I might have to borrow that idea soon on a couple items I've got on the checklist.
What's the is the end goal? It's really coming along nicely! |
