This is a C20 he is talking about so the bushings & cross shafts are the same from about 1963 to 1987. They did not change to rubber bushings like the 1/2 ton did.

My bad for speaking in general terms and not specifying, forgot it was a c20 specific thread. And actually the cross shafts are the same up to 91 when they stopped with the one tons.

FYI though I was referring to the difficulty of being able to getting parts when I said that’s wrong

For my 64 C20 I ordered from POL in 2016-2017 timeframe for their front disc brake conversion with 2.5" drop spindle... It is currently on the truck, but I am still in the process of getting the truck back together.

That being said, I have also gone to a 2002 2500HD 14bolt with disc brakes, finally got brackets on it and had to have custom u-bolts made to mount it to my CPP trailing arms...

Will hopefully have the truck completed for the 2022 car show season.
