C10 build... what to do?

I've had my '66 C10 LWB stepside given back to me. It has a 250ci/SM420, Clifford 4V water cooled intake, and Clifford headers. Front suspension was whacked and pieced together, but somethings bent for sure. I have a buildable 292 in my possession, and a glut of axles and 4wd parts. The new Vortec 3500/4200 engines look really exciting too.

What do you think?

i voted 2wd vortec. that is my personal preference though. you should build what you like. if you like both, build both. i like things slammed in the grass!!

The poll is pretty narrow on the choices....

I do have a '83 C30 frame I'm considering using if I take one of the 3/4-ton routes. I know there's some fitment issues with the old body and newer frame. Any first-hand input is appreciated.

I'm not a fan of slammed.... Lowered works for me.... airbags let you have it both ways, right?

As a minimum....
It will have a long stepside box, inline power, and a manual trans. Just about everything else is up for debate
