Re: Just scored the replacement.....63 custom cab, bbw !!!

John, Some how I just knew I'd be seeing this post soon. Congrats on the new 63. What an awesome score! I just wanna say that I've been following the progress of the Cheif since I joined and every time I saw new pics you posted of something you did to it, it motivated me to get off my butt and do something with my truck. I'm lookin forward to following the build progress with this one.

And so this one is gonna be a bigger, badder, faster, meaner, truck after the concept build of the Cheif right? JK

I would leave it a long bed. These trucks are the only ones that look as good long as they do short. Of course I may be a little bias having a long bed too

Hell of a nice deal! Glad everything seems to have worked out well all the way round. Few extra bucks in the pocket- new project to keep you from going/drive you nuts.

Whatcha gonna call this one?

btw- my vote is for keeping it long- but of course- do what makes you happiest with the truck.

Re: Just scored the replacement.....63 custom cab, bbw !!!

Conga-Rats on the sweet deal, I am finally working on my 63 C20 also, I kept it SchLong for the haulin and towin, and I may even bump it up in the air a few for a Pre-runner style, as I want to take it out in the desert and camping and such.

If you are just gonna cruise it, SWB is the way to go, I will never forgive myself for selling my original 62 SWB , then the other 63 C10 SWB I had to my brother, He aint never givin it back.

Look fwd to watching your progress!
