Question ----->1970 CST Short Wide<-------

Quote:
I like my 70 because when it was new I was 16 and when I drive her I feel 16. Someone mentioned options, I have all options except tilt and one day I shall have that too + a big block, man I cant wait for that one. You dont have to have a 72 to get options.
You said this in another thread, do you have any pics of the cruise control switch? Is it still wired up and working?

What did this look like? I didn't think that cruise was available on these trucks. My truck came with an aftermarket cruise on it that someone istalled, but it currently doesn't work.

Do you have the LMC catalog?
I'm looking in the summer 2001 only becouse my wife hid the new one from me. (like I'd buy from these schmucks.) Anyways, on page 124, item #18, that is what is is supposed to look like. I had pics posted of the under hood items, but phot-i is being revamped right now and I can not post thepics becouse of it.
On mine, I know the switch is junk (the shaded part on LMC's pic is busted off) and I don't even know if i have all the under hood ca-ca. I think I do, but I don't KNOW
Either '69 or '70 was the first year...I can't remember off the top of my head.

REPO, you are wayyyy wrong, lol
1968:
Speed and Cruise Control: Not available on cowls or when 396 engine, HD air cleaner, or manual throttle is ordered...........K30

you dont know what all options WERE available on trucks, you are underestimating the CST era of trucks, tisk tisk, the only options that trucks couldnt get yet were poower doors and windows, until 1977, everything else was available
