New 6 Cyl speed equip-For sale

This is a nice package of the key components to put some HP & good looks in to your 250 or 292 straight six. Everything is new, in the boxes, with warranties. I am adding an HEI with nearly new wires...may not be in the pics. Current cost of these parts is over $800 (JCW & Summitt). I am selling all for $600 (about 30% off).
Offy intake manifold w/gaskets & brackets (cost 220)
Cyclone/Clifford/ headers (cost 180)
Holley 390 carb (cost 359)
HEI with wires (cost ? $75)
SELL ALL FOR $600.
No PMs please--Post here for if you want them--They are not yours until you say "you will buy them". I will try to answer all questions, but you may lose them while you are asking, if you don't say you will buy them.
PS: I run this exact same combination on my "Hot Six" and I can give you several tips to make the installation easier and run better. It took me a long time to learn this.

My "Hot Six"

This is how it looked on my 292...currently building a new balanced, big valve, cam etc 301 to kick it up a little.

292 PS--For Sale

Two sets of the hard to find 292 PS. Includes pump with attached pulley & all brackets to bolt to your engine. Both sets have been built to line up with stock WP/crank pulleys. See one set on the "Hot Six" pic above. The other is built a little different, but both are made to allow the clearance of the large 1-1/2" bypass hose. $100 each set.

runing 4 barrel and maifold without headers

Frank;

Is it worth running this carb and manifold setup and HEi with headers? I had a 6 cyl with headers once and wasn't happy with sound. Could this be safe/solid boltup to used 250cid?

Headers are part of the performance package. You need it all. More fuel in & more fuel out = more HP. The next step is cam.
This engine has a deep V8 sound to it, until you get on it...then it sounds pure sweet six cylinder. The good sound comes from the mufflers, not the headers.
Check the Clifford site out and see what they say about carbs/manifolds/exhaust. This is the first step to any six cyl performance--bolt ons.

ps pump

If you add the performance equip., do you have to change the ps as in your picture? Or will my 250 current ps stay the same? What modifications need to be made for this" hot stuff"?

PS fits just like original. I went from 250with PS to 292, so the alignment is different. It is just a 4bbl air cleaner and everyone sells the valve cover.

DC: Shipping=$$$

The headers are going to have to be reboxed for better protection and they will have to go "oversize". That is pretty high to Fla. The other items will need a lot better packaging too!
I will pick up some of the boxing/shipping costs---all over $50.
So, I will box, insure and ship all three items for $650.
I recommend you email me (frankeham@comcast.net) for a phone # so you can pay with Visa/MC for faster service and protection.
