This car is Beautiful. Been having sellers remorse since I sold my 69GS, now every time I check up on this thread I go into Depression can't wait to see the end result.

Check this out...

Ruth is the first use of Kyle's new lift. Got the sway bar back on. Was kind of sweating that since the last time it was on, there was a different axle and brake set.

Cool, thanks for the info. Looking at doing that to my GTO. Curious how it rides. Could you let me know when you take her out for a spin?

Re: 66 Buick Skylark - Ruth

Will do. I would've used ordinary springs back there, but couldn't find any that would get the back down enough without resorting to bags. Everything I hear about RideTech has been good, so I'll be very surprised if it doesn't ride well.

Got the windshield and back glass in and some trim on. Some of the Vintage Air has been installed too.

I don't think the box in the trunk counts as installed

I love that red interior. Ruth's looking good!

Thanks!

The box in the trunk was my part of the install - Kyle's taking care of the rest.

I hope it doesn't get towed. It is in a designated "Chevrolet truck parking only" spot.

The red really looks good in the car. Can't wait to see it up and running!

This is one BAD Skylark! I didn't think I would ever say that
Got to see this one in person, quality of parts and workmanship is top notch!

Re: 66 Buick Skylark - Ruth

Kyle and I were staring at it some today. Ruth has really come a long way.

Hope to fire the LS this week. I picked up a new mass air flow sensor for it this week, along with some other things. Tomorrow, the brown truck is dropping off a bunch of stuff and that should break the log jam free.

Kyle is fabbing up the exhaust today, doing a terrific job tucking it up out of the way.

Re: 66 Buick Skylark - Ruth

Thanks John!

Kyle has begun the exhaust, would've finished if one muffler didn't bounce off the brown truck somewhere.

I dropped off some moulding and he's starting to get that put on.

Billet Specialties coil covers. Steering column shaft is in too. Starting to hook up the wiring harness, got it to crank today. Getting very close to first start.
