Use Duct Tape?

I tried it out and it works well. The one thing I had was leaks between the plastic pieces where it "divideds up the air". I love that stuff. Our mailbox got bashed, and the pole broke off. So instead of digging a big hole in the rocky ground for another wooden pole, i drove a metal T-post (the green and white kind) into the ground. I put a 4x4 piece of lumber on the bottom of the mailbox, and duct-taped it to the T-post. With the money your putting into your truck I know you don't want duct tape showing. If its where a seal is where 2 cases join replace the seal. That twisting method works good for threading the hose over the retaining tabs eh Nick? Yeah.... thanks you guys, especially Paul. That twisting worked well except on the right defroster vent those I started twisting it and it ripped off a big piece of the end. I tried taping it together (still not right). I am gonna end up getting another one of that piece I guess.

If you use the duct tape, you'll have to change your sig:

If the air is leaking at the defroster or S-plenum when the A/C is is on, it's because the air is getting past the flapper door in the divertor. Could be the rubber on the flapper door is worn or missing or maybe the cable that operates the flapper door is not shuting the door completely and needs adjusting.
If it's leaking when the heater/defroster is on I wouldn't worry about it as long as you have good air flow out of the defroster vents.

This brings up another good topic. Whenever I switch it over to the defroster should the other vents shut off or not? I am not getting nearly as much airflow out of those vents as I'd like.
