help with wiring

i just acquired a 85 k5 blazer. the previous owner removed the engine and now wiring is just laying around. before disconnecting everything they left the driver side power window down. i am trying to get it back up but unsure what i need to connect to the battery.

i tried connecting a few wires here to a battery without any luck.

also here i seem to have a few wires cut.
should this ground be connected for the power windows to work?
