Re: Happy Thanksgiving

Turkey, Stuffing, Mashed taters and gravy, Cranberry sauce, and Pumpkin pie. Can't beat it. And my wife nails it every year. I make the Cranberry sauce. I'm not allowed to do anything else when she's cooking and that's fine with me. I'm kind of an expert at doing nothing.

My mom always liked Yams. I don't care for them so I made Yam brownies and they were really good. So she got her yams and I had some good brownies instead of yucky Yams. Problem solved.

I feel like taking a nap just thinking about Thanksgiving dinner.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving

Years ago I was in charge of the Cranberry sauce.

Daddy liked it
I shook it out of the can (Whole) And sliced it.

Now I make sausage balls
3 Ingredients. It takes a little time, but it's worth it

I grew up on that jellied stuff. But now I always make it myself. It's super easy. Cranberries water and sugar. It doesn't take long.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving y'all!

I remember the dog food style cranberry sauce(?) when I was a kid. By the time I was a teen she was making it from scratch, and about everything else. I'm still fortunate enough to enjoy her cooking at 91.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving

Lets all spend a moment and say a silent thank you to all of those who are no longer with us.

Those that inspired us
Those that protected us
Those that provided our understanding of the world
To all those working today to keep essential services running

We would not be where we are now without all these selfless wonderful people

Thank you and

Happy Thanksgiving !
