Auto dimming, temp/compass mirrors

I have 3 of these. All tested and work perfectly. Sold a coulpe on the 67-72 board, but figured they would sell better on the 73-87 since they're designed to mount to the windshield. Wires are marked as to where they go, ignition, ground, temp sensor and optional back-up lights. $45 shipped in the lower 48.

Re: Auto dimming, temp/compass mirrors

I will buy two of these mirrors off of you. How much more would you charge to ship it to Canada? I also have a shipping address in the states, if you don't want to ship it to Canada.

Let me know,

Thanks,

Carl

Yes, some still have some glass glued to them that came off the windshields, GM uses some good glue!

Yes they are, I guess I forgot to put that in the ad. I believe they are Gentex.

I've shipped several small things to Canada, but these would be in a bigger box, so I would have to check.

Re: Auto dimming, temp/compass mirrors

Ok, let me start off by saying I might have 7 years bad luck, because I managed to break one of them. I have some that don't get dark, so I'm going to try to change the glass on the broken one, but I've never done it so not sure if it will work or not.

UATahoe is first up, then 6 2 carl. I am sure I'll be getting more of these in the near future, so ill add them on this thread and give those who have asked for them first dubs on them.

Hope this works for everyone.

I am subscribing because I'm going to look at an '85 truck next week. If I get it I will be buying one of these mirrors if you still have them.

Do you know if the mirror mount will work on the '85 button? I'm trying to keep from removing the old one if I can avoid it.

I'm 99% sure that they're the same since these are GM mirrors, but I can check and make sure.

They come with everything pictured in the first pic, mirror, temp sensor and the thing that covers the wires where they run up the windshield. There's about 8" of wire on the mirror and sensor. I'll send you a PM on payment.

PM sent. And yes, hooking up the back up light wire to the back up light switch will un dim the mirror when shifting into reverse.
