I own Custom Paint Forum and the Devilbiss Starting Line seems to be the best bang for the buck.
I have a few SATAs, but I like using Iwatas. I feel they have a slight edge over SATA as far as atomation goes. I like the handle a bit better to. 1.3 for base. 1.4 for clear. I currently have about 12 quality spray guns (including 4 W-100s) You can get by with an el cheapo gun, BUT, don't expect the best results, especially with metallics, pearls, crystals, candies....

The lower the size, the less fluid that gets through the nozzle. AS 1.3 nozzle will not put out as much as a 1.7
