American Autowire and glove box light
Question for those that have used the American Autowire kit, I’m not finding a spot for the wire. The manual says it’s a 12v battery fused for glove box, but even the lights I’m finding online don’t look like they use this connector.

Is the glove box circuit a separate option?..when I pulled it up it shows a light and switch for about 20bucks..
I've not seen a connector like that before

That terminal should fit right inside the glovebox light socket / switch assembly. Goes right up alongside the bulb and one of the little "pins" on the base of the bulb hooks into the notch in the center of that terminal.

I am about to buy a glove box light also...did you guys connect the hot wire to a battery or ignition 12v source?

That connector on the american autowire kit will fit into the kits accessory circuit that has several connectors both ignition powered and direct to battery powered. That is what I used.

It has an accessory pig tail. You can put it in the spot for the cigarette lighter and plug that into the pigtail. it will come on with or without the ignition on.
