Not that cool. Maybe I'm just a tech junkie but if I can get a 7" Nakamichi touch screen DVD player for that price, the dial deck would be out the door.

I can appreciate that, but I'm more of a stock junkie and would really like something that looks original, but is better and does more. This thing would be perfect other than the price.

Re: Now this is a cool radio! Too bad it's $595!!!

Ya gotta pay to play. Looking at their product line, I don't think the price is too far out of line for what it is, what it does, and what it gives you. How much are you going to pay for 100% perfect knobs for the radio in your truck now? How much are you going to pay for a 100% perfect radio for your truck if you don't already have one? According to their description, it is impossible to tell the difference from stock once their radio is installed. It even functions the same way, just gets better reception, has more power, and allows you to plug a CD/MP3 player into it to hear through your factory or stealth sound system.

I have a friend that has a 100% concourse 69 442 convertible. They would never dream of putting anything but a stock appearing radio in their car. I'll bet they would love to have some decent tunes in their car without having points taken off at a judged car show, and without destroying the original look of the car. If they are making these radios in low quantities the price is going to be high for what they are, but I doubt you could find a better solution for less, even if you built it yourself.

Its cool, but probably not any better than the other radios of this type that are already on the market. It does carry the advantage and cool factor for looking completely stock, but that's it.

And $600 isn't expensive. For this particular radio, yes, but to put it in perspective, my Pioneer AVIC-Z110BT was $1900 installed...

Maybe one of these days soon. I've got too many other things to do to my truck first, but I would really like one of these. It really is exactly what I'd like to put in my truck so I'll keep it in the back of my mind.

Way too much for what it is IMO. Then again, I'm not at all into the whole 'stock' look either.

I won't have $1900 into my entire entertainment and security system. But I'm frugal, champagne tastes on a PBR budget.

I like PBR When my friends buy it anyway

When it comes to my trucks, I tend to splurge

On the PBR note, it's a staple here in Downtown Sacramento...$2 tall drafts anytime of the day/night in most places, and $1 happy hour...gotta love it at that price...

I know the feeling. My budget for the whole interior is $1500 and I've got $400 of that in my seats, carpet and upholstery. It will be tight, but if I keep the stereo under $800, I should be in the clear.
