Wow. Pretty impressive to lose a bumper. Surely it'll turn up. Still making progress though. Looking good Wes.

Good to see progress since I last looked. FedEx has been unreliable lately. Hopefully it will eventually show up. I had a pair of 10 ton extended jack stands that went missing for a almost a month from FedEx. Company resent and that order seemed to be lost as well and in the end I now have two pairs. Very large boxes that were taped up and almost destroyed on both shipments. Just jack stands so it did not matter.
I contacted seller to return, they offered half price on extra pair not to return and I have never heard back from them.

Losing that stuff sucks. I hope FedEx is covering the loss! Great that you're making progress though.

Re: Beth's tribute truck.

Well I have an update on the bumper. It was located! Woooo Hoooo! However when it was delivered to me it was damaged. Part of the seam where the park lamp holes were welded in cracked and so the bumper has to go in to be repaired and re-chromed. Sucks, but whatever, sore subject now!

Beautiful job on the NP205 Shifter. I think my reproduction shifter knob looks great also.

I think I am going to move the rear end back an inch or so. I know this is how they came from the factory, but it just isn't appealing to me.

American Airlines once sent my dive bag to Boston instead of Barbados. Took a couple of non-diving days to get it back.

Re: Beth's tribute truck.

Little progress made. Had to pull the cab to make the modifications to the firewall. I cut the area where the clutch rod delete cap passes through because while mocking up the engine the header on the driver's side came too close to it. I will also be shaving the passenger side in preparation for an Old Air A/C unit. I am going to shave the filler neck hole while I am at it.

Re: Beth's tribute truck.

That stinks to see the crack in the bumper. If it did that in a box being shipped chances are it would have done it on the truck IMO. At least you can get it fixed now.

To move your axle back without a lot of mods, get some zero rate off sets from ORD.

Re: Beth's tribute truck.

Thanks guys! Working on this truck helps me cope with loosing her. We got finished reshaping the area where the clutch rod passes through the firewall. Starting work now on shaving the heater A/C box area.

Looks good, do you prefer old air over vintage air? If so, can you tell me why? I've been pondering which I should choose.

I only have experience with Old Air. I like how the original controls can be used on their system. You just order it that way. Vintage Air might do that also, but I don't know.
