mustang II stering shaft options

I have a c10 with a mustang II front axle from fat man. I am just about to set the cab back on the frame but am unsure of what to do for a steering shaft. The engine is set back 4in and is a ls with 1-7/8 headers so I may have a odd ball application. What are you guys using for a steering shaft? if you had pictures that would be great.

Re: mustang II stering shaft options

Your steering column will effect this. Figure out your splines on each end and run 3/4 inch dd shaft. You should be able to connect the 2 points together. If you do not have a straight path then a carrier bearing and more joints required.

Get parts from Flaming River or Borgison or contact a member to order them from.
