Saggy rear

I have a 71 K10 suburban and the back end sags about two more inches than the front, anyone have any good remedies besides new springs?

Re: Saggy rear

If it is still running the stock suspension setup I'd say this is normal. The front end usually sits a bit higher on the factory K10 Suburban suspension (including my 1966 K10 Suburban). Partly to help with better approach/departure angles. If you are looking to level it out there are a number of different ways to do this and just about an endless list of 4x4 vendors that supply the parts to do it.

1.Have your original rear leaf springs rebuilt, add a leaf to add a bit more lift to level things out
2.Buy new leafs from a number of different vendors (i.e. Rough Country)
etc.

Re: Saggy rear

Air assist bags. Allows for adjustment when loaded up and ride will stay nice. A basic kit with manual fill is very affordable
