So I thought I would ask here too.

I have a line on a camper special with the 8.5 foot box. Running and driving with a 402 big block ,a factory tach and a 4 speed, power brakes but no power steering. The body is in very good shape with little rust anywhere.

It has had some plates welded into the bed to install a fifth wheel hitch, some heavy duty home made monster bumpers on it and a front fender replaced with the white paint on the bottom which is not on the rest of the truck.

I don't deal with camper specials and wondered what it would be worth running and driving?

The tires are almost new on the original rims. Let me know your thoughts

This is the only picture the gentleman sent me.

Also, how hard would it be to put power steering on a 3/4 ton? What will i need beyond the pump, brackets, hoses and box? I have all of that coming off a blazer and wondered if it would fit.

Putting the power steering would be no harder on the 3/4 than a regular truck, same thing. The blazer stuff isn't gonna work for you though it is small block going on to a big block. The brackets, pump and the lines as well are different. Jim

Thanks for the steering info.

Anybody have some feed back on the value of this truck in Texas?
