Question 15” 8 lug slotted wheels?

I came across a pair of 8 lug slotted mag wheels in 15”. I’ve never seen these before, I thought they only came in 16” or 16.5”? Any idea of the manufacturer?

No markings on the back side of the rims? Seems most manufacturers built their name or mark into the mold and it would be on the back side.

Oddballs for sure. I had a couple sets of 6 lug 16.5s. Also had a set of 15 inch 8 lug similar to those and they wouldn't clear disc brakes. Fyi

Re: 15” 8 lug slotted wheels?

Way back when it was easier to find wider heavy ply truck tires in 16.5 dia, so there were truck wheels made in 5 and 6 lug in the aftermarket. There were never anything but standard truck tire sizes offered in 16", only 16.5. And, when only GM trucks had disc brakes as well as the pre-71 drum brakes, there were wide aftermarket wheels made in 8-lug. I guess maybe at first the wider tires were only offered in 15". I'm not sure, but I bought 15 x 10 8-lug white spokes in '77 when I got one of the first sets of Armstrong 14.50 x 37s. And when I bought the Power Wagon it had 15 x 8 8-luggers on it
