It's not a good idea to leave it in bare metal for long. I live in las vegas where the humidity hovers around 5-10%. I can get away with it longer than most but I'm still worried about it and about to shoot it with etching primer when the front fenders are done. If I lived in a humid climate I wouldn't be so lazy.

in south louisiana i can't leave something bare metal for more than 2 hours with this 80-100% humidity!!
