Question C30 wheelbase

What wheelbases were available on the 1972 C30's? Going to look at one with about 17,000 miles on it without a bed and was wondering if my long bed from my C10 would fit. Thanks.

Unless 72's are different than '67-'68's, the wheelbase on C-30's is 133" compared to a 127" wheelbase on a C-10 LWB. I am doing the same thing, I am going to 6" out of my frame to put the bed on it. You could put a Longhorn 8 1/2" bed on it.

However, if it has a bed, it is a 133 inch wheel base, with either the Longhorn bed....or the rare 9 foot step side bed.

There is a cherry longhorn bed here in the junk yard if your looking for a bed last I heard they shipped large items too. The bed still has the longhorn emblems on it..

On 1tons,I always go by the cab-axle measurement`cause that`s how the bodies are fitted. That would be 60" or 84".A longbed would be 56".

Re: C30 wheelbase

Did any 1969 C30 Motorhomes have a 165" wheelbase?

Not that I have heard of. But anything can be done once it leaves the factory.

Re: C30 wheelbase

Should be either 133” or 157”.

Re: C30 wheelbase

Anyone ever done a chassis swap with a 2000 or newer chassis?
