Help with CA DMV VIN verification form

OK guys, for my 1963 C50 I am filling out a Calif DMV “Verification of Vehicle” form, it is asking how the VIN is attached. Who can tell me how they are attached on our old trucks, as I can’t tell for sure. The options are:
Not Visible
Rosette Rivets
Round Rivets
Other:______
Adhesive
Not Applicable
Screws
Stamped

Here is a photo of the VIN plate, it really does not have any rivet per se, just a stamped dimple if you will on each side, so does anyone know the correct option for attachment to the door post? I don’t want to make yet another fruitless trip to the DMV office!

Awesome! Thanks for quick reply. I will choose “other” and write in “factory weld”

Hold on, didn't different years have different rivets and differed with Canada. And I may have heard about GMC models may have welded. This may be a trick question through the DMV as I'm sure they have records.

Yes - but that one is welded.

Thanks for this info, I do believe this truck VIN has not been tampered with as my neighbor was original owner so pretty confident the DMV will pass it on through. They just need a cop to verify it and the choices on the form did not seem to match the actual situation. I will post the results once I get to the DMV…I am afraid there will be 20 years of fees for non payment of registration so wish me luck at talking my way out of it!

Re: Help with CA DMV VIN verification form

Your vin is attached the same way as my 63, and I know mine hasn't been tampered with. My cab vin still matches the partial frame vin.
