TMI Seats - NEED brackets

Getting ready to order full TMI interior kit but found out that their brackets do not allow the seat to slide back and forth and more importantly the passenger seat doesn't flip forward.

Now I could adapt the 67-72 Blazer seat brackets I have but feel that would be a waste and ruin the value of the original seat for when/if I resell them.

Does anyone know if the 73-87 model seats have a similar "flip forward" function ? Believe those seat brackets might be easier and cheaper to find. Anyone have some suggestions ?

Added pic because everyone loves progress pics

Re: TMI Seats - NEED brackets

My 72 had a 73-up bucket on the passenger side when I bought it. It did flip forward, but the seat back hit the windshield.

Yes they did but I personally can’t say they all did.

Re: TMI Seats - NEED brackets

Have you talked to TMI? The page to order front seats says the brackets are sliders. Doesn't solve the passenger seat flip forward issue, though.

Re: TMI Seats - NEED brackets

The TMI seats do have sliders. I adapted my original passenger side seat bracket to fit the new seat so that it would flip forward. I didn’t have the seat, just the bracket.

Re: TMI Seats - NEED brackets

I ordered the sliding TMI brackets or seat mounts but like said above do not allow seat to be flipped forward. I'm not sure sliding the seat forward will allow enough room for someone to gain access into the back seat. I hate to utilize my factory seat brackets - hoping to save for next project at this point.

Wonder if any of the newer style blazers had flip forward seats? Or other vehicles in general?

Re: TMI Seats - NEED brackets

If interested, I have a set of 73 up brackets I'll sell.
