Is this a?

It this just a 12v bus bar on the square bodies?

It appears a previous owner ran a 12v + wire from this bus bar to the 7 pin trailer plug in the back of the truck? Ideas on why they did this?

They ran the red wire with the white fusible link in it. (yellow arrow).

If the arrow is referencing that red wire at the top of the stack, that's not a fusible link. Those white cylindrical shaped objects are inline fuse holders. There's a common glass fuse inside.. As for the wire going to the 7 pin plug at the rear -- it's anybody's guess, but it could be to provide constant power source on a trailer..

My error I thought those were fusible link wires.

Re: Is this a?

Pretty common for one pin on a 7 way RV connector to be constant power.

Here's a link to a typical fusible link..

https://www.4statetrucks.com/air-ele...ent=Ad%20group

A fusible link is a wire made of a special alloy that melts in to when overheated.. The link is typically a gauge or two smaller than the wire it's protecting.

Re: Is this a?

The black wire toward the bottom that runs into the cylinder looks like a factory fusible link. The wire on the other side of the cylinder should be larger.
