Timing Question
Stupid question. My cam is ground 4 degrees advanced, so when I read my base timing at 10 degrees, am I really at 14 degrees? If so, I may need to back off the timing a bit more.

Re: Timing Question
Nope, your base timing is still 10. Cam timing has nothing to do with ignition timing. When there is 4* advance ground into the cam, that means the intake centerline is 4 degrees less than the lobe separation angle. IE, if your cam's lsa is 110 degrees, your intake centerline is 106 degrees (110-4=106).

Re: Timing Question
Well, that means I set the timing right anyway. Thanks.
