Filling Body Line - Subs/Panels

Curious if anyone has filled the cavity just below the drip rail to match the lower part of the body line where it meets the flat panel. I've looked for pictures but not found any. Of course, it runs the entire length of the roof line.

seam sealer would likely work.
check the assembly manual and see if there was originally a sealer there, maybe just dried up and fell out or possibly was sandblasted out or whatever.

Re: Filling Body Line - Subs/Panels

Are you saying that you want to remove this strip and put a filler panel in to have the whole side smooth up to the drip rail?

I had a 57 Panel back in the 70's but have no idea of what it looks like behind that strip.
