Wheels
Haven't been on here in a long time and I'm making 2 threads. I have some kind of chevy later model 4x4 wheels wheels on my truck, 20's, and I hate them. Truck handles great with them but they are not for me. I seen a 96 chevy tahoe with the old 15x8 chevy rallys on it with 31/10.50/15's on it and it looks killer. Has anyone on here used those wheels? I found a set without centers and trim rings for a $100 so I'm going to snag them. After market wheels are out of sight now and I don't really care for the later model wheels on chevy trucks.

Re: Wheels
I used one for a spare before I converted to 5 lug. Right now I have a van rally on as a spare, it's 7" wide.

Re: Wheels
I had them on my GMC extended cab way back when (2wd). 15x8 with 31x10.50 great size for these trucks.

Re: Wheels
After she is painted I think that's going to be the next upgrade, they sure looked good on that tahoe.

Re: Wheels
These trucks were the first step away from the classic designs, though a classic by it's own right. They receive older touches well for a retro look. Using the earlier GM wheels, the opposite of what we did with 67-72s, goes a long way toward putting a classic flare to their earlier brethren. I run 8-luggers, so a different wheel/hubcap combo

Re: Wheels
If I had a 2500, it'd have the later chevy alum wheels, I think they are a good looking wheel on these trucks. That's a good looking truck Special K!

I guess they would work (not the other way) but will stick out farther. Also you will be riding on the lugs alone as the hole is bigger. But what do I know? I've got two sets of those 15" centers and trim rings lying around.
