Dig the bottle opener! You have the same style of tile on your counter as we have. The wife has been wanting to replace it with quartz for awhile, now. It's original to the house, built in '68.

all that is good, the countertop, the beer, and the bottle opener. I don't need one. I have a Squirt wall-mount opener next to the fridge. Take that thing away and it'll be years before I stop trying for it

I could live with the countertop but my wife doesn't like it. Nuff said. It's gone.

I'm also getting a pink bathroom. My opinion obviously doesn't matter.

I always liked Squirt better than 7UP. But you don't see it too much anymore. Maybe they still make it. I don't know.

7UP to me is too sweet tasting. I would also go for a Squirt or I also like a Fresca on occasion also. Fresca and Crown Royal does go down pretty smooth.

Wife and I were on the west side of Wichita the other day and stopped at a local burger chain. Several of them scattered around town, pretty decent burgers and most have a '50s-'60s look about them. Seen this front clip hanging off the front entrance wall of the building. Being a big Tri-five fan and owning a '57 just really had to get a pic.

Nice decoration, but adds a lot of overhead for the owners

Fresca makes good mix! I thought I was the only one who did that. I don't want the caffeine in coke in the evening, and caffeine free diet coke is hard to find - and only good for mix!

Chop all the other vehicles out of that picture and it's 1964 all over again. Pretty close trafficwise, too

Cool scoop. Makes the ice cream taste better* . I just had myself a hand-dipped cone of Hershey's ice cream from an ice cream parlor last Saturday after a bike ride on the C&O Canal.

* For me, at least. I prefer vintage items in my kitchen.

I made some carpenter bee traps, put them up, and they really do work. So I decided to make a bunch up and offer for sale to help others with infestation and make a couple bucks. I'm replacing windows on this 1890s house and the homeowner snatched up a dozen when he found out I was selling them. On this one wall there are 13 spots like shown in my picture. WTH is this? I know it's from the bees, but never saw this mess before. Each spot is lined up with a bee hole in the back side of the fascia board

Last night at a sheriff k-9 fundraiser, my raffle ticket got pulled and I won this Ruger American .308. Guess I can’t say I never win any more! I’m stoked, I’ve been needing something for elk, since my 25-06 isn’t quite up to that…

Something for the "Made In America" thread! Congratulations. It was a set of right, left, and straight aircraft snips that broke my "never win anything" losing streak. Oh well, I've used them a lot since. So still winnin'
