Easier vehicle to sell now k25 or r3500?

Im in between a few projects and am thinking about cutting one loose. Whats a better or easier sell in todays market? I know price is always the main factor but whats more popular? I leaning towards keeping the crewcab because im not sure if a '77 ls swap is sellable, probably should have kept it stock.

'77 White GMC K25 with 5.3l 4l80e/np241 4wheel disc brakes basically rebuilt rattle can quality underbody, Redone newer 87 interior Clean body with newer rustfree square dual tank door bed currently undergoing a respray. Newer 31" tires on aluminum rims. My goal was super clean hunting fishing rig not show truck. Will be solid white with full trim when done.

'88 White GMC Crewcab Dually R3500 454 tbi/400 trans 3.73 rear, sierra classic power windows locks, bone stock 121K miles needs a good cleaning and polishing, little surface rust just a wyoming truck with 3 years in Michigan. Bought on a whim whth no plans just a fun driver.

When I’m in that situation, I throw both up for sale and see which one sells first.

If the crew was a v and not an r that would be easy. Lots of ls swapped squares near me. Seems like the 77 you have a plan and the 88 is huge and taking up space. I miss my dually every now and then but then i remember trying to find parking.. street parking and that feeling fades.. then i think about towing and how much better it felt towing with a 1 ton dually..

I would list both higher then you feel is fair and see who makes you an offer you cant refuse. I was just looking online and near me people re asking over 15k for srw k30’s!!!!!

Location will make a difference. Here in Virginia, the k20 would sell in a heartbeat. Young guys are always wanting a unique daily driver, and a k20 will definitely make them stand out from the crowd. 4wd makes a big difference to folks around here, even if we don't get offroad much or get a lot of snow.

The big boat will have a much more limited market. No one is going to buying that to daily drive it on our narrow curvy Virginia roads. The only ones interested would be a very-budget conscious landscaper who can't afford a newer truck, or an older guy who's preparing for retirement, and wants to fix up a classic to pull his camper.

Personally I dig the dually and I think there's a market but I may be biased.

I believe the K20 will be easier to sell. R crews are a limited market - personal opinion, but you don't exactly see folks fighting over them on Barrett Jackson. Shouldn't the question be "which one do I want to keep?" (and then sell the other one? )

Most likely the k . I have been gravitating to the duellys lately wouldn’t mind owning one. But I already have a k20

"R" & "V" are replacement "C" & "K" letters for the 88-91 squarebody variants. As the next generation of pickups inherited the "C" and "K" nomenclature in 88, GM assigned new letters to distinguish the trucks apart from each other during the period of overlap.

R is 2wd and V is 4wd. Mine is a 2wd '88 r3500 crew cab, not a '88 gmt 400 body style.

Likewise, the truck in my signature is a v20, which is the same as a k20. "v" or "k" = 4wd, "20" = 3/4-ton.

1973-1986 = All trucks were squarebody style, and they used the C and K to refer to 2wd and 4wd.

1987 = All the trucks were still squarebody style, but the C and K were temporarily dropped. R and V were used instead.

1988-1991 = Most of the trucks were the new gmt400 style, and used the C and K designations. There were a few squarebody's still being produced. These included the Blazer, Suburban, and a few other specialty models. The squarebody style continued to use the R and V designation.

1992+ = All trucks were gmt400 style, and they used the C and K to refer to 2wd and 4wd.
