That looks great! Just a couple of questions, like what are you doing for a fuel gauge, and what sizes are the gauges?

VERY nice job...esp on the center hole with the turn signals.
That 4th hole would be perfect for a fuel guage...is that the plan?

LOL@JunkyardJohn

I guess that doesn't sound unreasonable! (trusting old gauges to monitor Hi-Perf engine)

I like both Yours and white68chevy's instrument clusters! Cool stuff. Myself, I'd prefer the black ones that JunkyardJohn has, but white is still neat looking

Alright! I am getting the urge to do this to my dash. Question, what size are the gauges ( small and large )? Did you have to enlarge the openings or just slide them in and secure them? Are the gauges electronic etc...
Great looking setups guys!

ALL THE GAGES IN MYT I/P ARE MECHANICAL (EXCEPT THE TACH OF COURSE) ON THE BOTTOM ROW THERE'S OIL PRESS.,VOLTMETER,WATER TEMP., & TRAN.S TEMP, WITCH ARE ALL 2 1/16". THE TOP ROW ARE A 5" 160MPH SPEEDO. 3 1/2" FUEL LEVEL, & A 5" 10 RPM TACH. THEY ALL SLID RIGHT IN WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE 3 1/2" FUEL GAGE, WITCH I HAD TO CUT A HOLE FOR. I THEN HARDWIRED THEM ALL TO A JUNCTION BLOCK, THAT I MOUNTED ON THE BACK OF MY I/P. THE HARDEST PART WAS PARTING WITH THE CASH. THOSE GAGES ARE KINDA PRICEY, LOL

thanks for all the complements guys. on the bottom i have a fuel level, vaccuum, oil pressure, and water temp. they are 2 and 5/8 i just used a hole saw to cut them out. my big ones are the same as junkyardjohns. the big ones side right with no problems. the center part was kinda tricky. we trimmed the orginal gague cluster and just wired the blinkers and generator light and my new bright light indicator up. we used clearance light sockets from pep boys for the lights. I now have a fuel gauge. And yes the hardest part was shellin out the money that why most of mine were Christmas presents. If yall got any more guestions i will be glad to try and answer them.

Those both look very good. I like that a lot. I guess if I myself wanted to make sure mine were accurtate I would get new stock gauges and make sure they were all calibrated.
