I made it out of an old air cleaner top and bass and cut a 3" pipe in half then welded it all around the back side. Then put two 3" tubs out the front of it.
I think I understand what you are saying other than the cutting the 3" pipe in half and weding it around the backside. Was the 3" tube already bent into a "U" shape and you used the top and bottom of the air cleaner, or did you algle cut the tube to fit the complete air cleaner. I guess I don't understand. LOL!!! Do you have any pics of the making of it? And if you do, would you mind sharing?
On another note, I used your angle shot of the Blazer as my wallpaper and the wife saw it amnd fell in love with it. Now she wants me to keep my eye out for one. When her and I first got together she had an '85 4wd but she wouldn't mind me making one into a 2wd for her. So maybe I'll have me a new project before long

Re: New Blazer pic's..

Kevin,

Sorry about that, I was doing about three things at once when I typed that up. You are right, it was a 3" U shape pipe. I will see if I can find some pic's for you. Give me a day or two to find them.

That is very cool that you are using a pic of my blazer as wallpaper. Thanks for the kind words. Good luck on finding a blazer.

Later,
Trav
