Who sells those type of windshield's? You see them in 67 8 and 9 Camaro's and I'm sure other vehicle's. It doesn't use a gasket I believe its glued in.
Thought of putting one in my blazer.

i know theyre around for the rear window as well but i do not know who made these. but man those are a nice touch

Since the factory rubber channel is also the finish trim on the inside, what do you do about covering the exposed pinch weld that you glue the glass to on the inside?

Since these trucks were manufactured at multiple locations from different machinery there are tons of slight differences between one cab and the next.

The "flush fit" windshields typically require a bit of metal work on the cab around the windshield to make it fit properly.

The pinch weld in some cases has to be extended to allow for proper sealing to the glass by way of a pinch weld gasket. The glass is bonded to the gasket using a urethane glue.

The pinch weld and gasket are "hidden" by a black band of material called frit. The frit is usually an epoxy based paint which is baked onto the glass to provide an etched surface that allows adhesive to bond to the glass. Look at any current vehicle, and you will see frit around each sealed window surface.

I think the flush fit windshields look good on customized trucks, but for me, the juice was not worth the squeeze.

On the inside the pinch weld gasket looks pretty much like a regular windshield gasket. Here's a pic of my flush fit rear window from the inside. The pinch weld gasket is just above the seat back, the frit is between the gasket and the C/10 Club decal.

Don't get me wrong...I don't mind spending good money on classic cars / trucks but, at $ 1,600.00 a pop I don't think I could get that mad at it.

I have no direct experience with this type of windshield for our trucks. But I have heard a lot of bad press about the same kind of glass for 2nd generation Firebirds and Camaros. All the dissatisfaction seemed to be about the quality of the glass (Wavy) and the large amount of body work involved to get a good fit.
I'm just providing a note of caution if someone is looking seriously at this conversion nothing more.
