I might be going there as well.

It's been about 20 years since I was there. I went with my Uncle who was building his '54 Vette at the time. I couldn't believe how big it was.

I'll be going to Carlisle Trucks. That's what I've always called it. I won't be vending or have my own spaces this year. Can't make it work this year. I'm sure I'll carry some things along

Re: Carlisle truck nationals August 6-7

I may bring out the 72 bed depends on how it works out with the trailer. I got three spots because I was going to take the Golden but not enough time to get her ready

I'm thinking about going. I haven't been to that show since I think 2017 or 18. Even though I live 30 minutes from the fairgrounds

When I go I stay in Shippensburg. About a 20 minute drive on RT11 no traffic and cheaper hotels .

i missed your generous offer, Mark. If it still holds it sounds good to me, I'll call. I just want to be there, and to set up a table would be great. Anyone need a set of hard to ship K/5 glass?

So the show starts tomorrow the 6th and runs to Sunday the 8th. It's Saturday night that a bunch of us go out for the unofficial beggars, I mean vendors, banquet. Those who leave on Saturday miss out.

Re: Carlisle truck nationals August 6-7

At the hotel the 72 had no problems pulling the trailer . Only once did I have to back off going up an incline not so much the water temp but the trans got close 180 degrees . Most times it was running 160 to 170 . On a straight and level road it dropped to 155 . Averaged 11 mpg and blue averaged 16 . Nice view out the window of the motel

Re: Carlisle truck nationals August 6-7

The last count from the office is over 2400 + trucks registered . I’m sure not all made the show but it’s impressive

I am pretty sure I saw your trucks. Maybe 2 rows down from the stadium not too far from it. I should have checked this thread before I left.

I just got home. Me and the wife got there around 4pm. Had a blast saw so many cool vehicles. Awesome show
