Seat Mounting

Anyone able to take some pictures of how the seats mount and what the lower rails of the seats are suppose to look like? Someone put late model seats in my '66, but I've come across what appears to be a good deal for a set of '60-'66 seats that need some work. Trying to see what exactly that entails as far as repairs around the mounting areas of the seats.

Talking Re: Seat Mounting

All of 'em (front, middle, back). $600 for the whole set (needs foam, recovering, and some patch work on the lower rails).

The lower rails of the seats look rotted and will likely require replacement. I figured that I would simply need to drill holes that match the spacing of the keyhole cleats on the floor and run a sort of washer/bolt system that would attach to them.

Was hoping to get a photo of how the cleat system works. I have a good idea, but I'd like to match original if possible.

And final question: Can the "back" seat be positioned in the "middle" spot? I'm not out looking at my Suburban right now, but I seem to remember the cleats for the middle row and back row are the same, despite the middle row being a smaller/narrower seat.

I picked up my Suburban just a week ago, and little things like this I didn't expect. The non-C10 parts are hard to find and I stumbled across the seats for so cheap I'm buying them without knowing what I'm doing with them exactly...

My 61 GMC seats, front and middle, do not interchange.

I was wondering about back and middle interchanging. Not front and middle.
