Parting out '72 Custom Deluxe-20

I need to bail this one up, and make some more room.

It's pretty rough, but it has a few pieces left that are good.

Runs and drives. Was an original BB truck, now has later 350.

Anyone interested in a 4:11 Dana 60 with POSI?? Coil spring.
$250.00 drum to drum.

Please post here, so I can keep track of who's on first. LOL!

71-longbed,

I can get a pic tomorrow morning.
I'm sure if these aren't real nice, I have a few more sets to pick from. Should have a good lighter or two around, also.

71-longbed: the bezels are pretty decent, with no dings, but they need polished up, the anodizing looks decent, all in all good driver quality bezels. (Pics to come) $10.00 EA.

RodC: vent window chrome about what you would expect for a truck that has sat out most of it's life. Tinted glass, decent rubber, not so good window fuzzies. Light hazing on the chrome.
$40.00 PR.

tripp: Hmmmm, Hubcaps. the only two on it are '73-'76 C-20 style.
(Yellow bowtie) I put them with two more '69-'76 K-20 style fronts I had saved back.
Prefer to sell as set of four for $75.00 Pretty good shape.

Solver: inner grille is cracked, missing a tab or two. $$??
Suprisingly, being an A/C truck, the window regulators are pretty tight, and the drivers side roll nice. (very little slop) The pass side is stiff. I'll have to dig into it to tell more about it. $25.00 EA.
(providing the pass frees up, and works good)

nightmare: The rear end is an 8-lug C-20 coil spring, "Power-Loc"
$250.00 Prefer picked up, don't want to ship it too badly.

MJN: The rims are the wide base "Camper Special" 16.5's.
It has three, and I think I have a fourth around here somewhere.
$25.00 EA. or $80.00 a set.

zyggy72: interior is pretty trashed. Flakey door panels, dash pad and seat are history. Haddecent Med Blue visors, Heat-A/C controls, some A/C ductwork. that's about it! (PIc below)

Bedsides are SOLD
BB fan shroud is SOLD
TH400 I plan to use myself

Solver:
The side mirrors are painted tripod style (short)

If you are interested in chrome (Stainless) ones, I think I can
put together a nice set with all OEM stuff. Let me check.

As I get this booger pulled farther apart, I'll find more good stuff.

BTW, it still has BB dual exhaust hangars on it, BB frame mounts/towers, BB floor heat shield, etc.

Power brake booster just SOLD locally.

Off to the shop to start pullin' it apart!!
Man, I need a 'puter at the shop so I can post as I pick!!

bad 71:

You probably don't want the fender or outer grille.
They're both pretty rough.
This truck was hit hard in the front when nearly new.
All new front sheetmetal (back then) unfortunately it's had alot of years since to rust.....and rust........and rust!
grille is dinged on top bar.

chevy_fatman: BB frame towers $75.00 set.
I just haven't got it down that far yet.
Hopefully soon!

Is the A/C wiring harness still intact with all the electric switches and relay and stuff?... Even if just most of the harness is still there, I would be interested. How much would you want for it?
Also, how much for the A/C controls?
Thanks

A/C controls $35.00 good chrome, levers, lettering. cables are so-so.

A/C parts: good cowl flapper, center floor vent tin, under dash box.
The hard plastic "air manifold/diverter" is good in shape.

The soft plastic "union" between the two is bad, like most, but I might have a good one put up.

Wiring is darned hard to find that hasn't been hacked on, and I don't think this one is going to be an exception! LOL!
If it's too far gone when I get that far into it, I most likely have an A/C harness from a previous victim (truck). I'd have to price it after I look it over.

I have everyone's parts requests so far, and will get this thing
stripped down fairly quick, so bear with me. (I pick through EVERYTHING!!)

If the parts for te ac system aren't all sold individually, ow much for a complete system( I don't know the name for all of the parts, I would trust you to send all of the correct pieces). It wouldn't matter if you peiced together a system from several 'Victims'

I've been thinking about doing that.

I have parted alot of A/C trucks, and have several systems stored away. Some are complete, Some partials. I know I have more than enough to do the next 2 or 3 trucks I have planned.

On those rims, how wide are they? I was looking for 9.75" wide rims but if you have four camper specials I might be interested, if I can get them thanks. Shipping might kill me too.

71_longbed:

Bezels and lighter

Bezels have about 3 small "stone" pecks on the lower rim.

Lighter is good, clean, but the black part of the knob needs refinished.
