I was sure that you guys were going to be right on with the suspension so nice to see the wheels straight up and down and with out the arms not on bad upward angles maybe it will catch on thanks to you and the roadster shop these trucks are going to get the same attention as street rods

What was the reason to remove the inner cab skin, just for thorough rust removal/repair/metal sealing, etc??

At first glance we could tell there was some rust hiding away in there. We pulled it out to make sure that when it was blasted, all of the questionable metal was addressed. And it was a good thing we did too since once we pulled it out we could see just how much hidden rust was sleeping away in there.

Re: Goodguys 2015 Giveaway C10 by Scott's Hotrods

Right now the guys are setting up the ground clearance. The rockers are being trimmed and remade, ad the rear of the cab is being redone too.

You can see just how much we are taking out of the rocker. Seems like a lot, but it'll really not be noticeable when it's all finished.

The body will sit level with the frame when it's finished. All said and done, it will give us our 4" of ground clearance that we need.

Here's a better view of the rocker. It'll be finished with a sheet metal cap and shaped correctly.
