K-Frame swap with a 305 V6? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Will the K-Frame 5 lug disc brake setup work with the stock 305 V6 in my 64 Suburban. There is a local ad running for this setup.

AD:

5lug disc brake conversion
converts 60-66 chevy pu to 5lug disc brakes(front)

complete set up includes

K-FRAME
upper and lower a arms
springs and shocks
power steering box and linkage
spindles,calipers,rotors,rubber brake lines

I would bet it would work, you mite need to drill out some new holes for the motor mounts if they don't line up. You mite ask the guy selling the kit...
