Talking To Sell/Trade or Not. 1960 Chevy Apache

1960 Chevy Apache restored about 9yrs ago. I got a HOT 350 bored out .30 with a 4spd. NO PS OR PB. It is still pretty much original no frills or upgrades. Motor has been rebuilt has about 8000 miles on her. SHe Flat out runs. Oak bed with a newer updated seats. I have it up for sale but I got some one who wants to trade for a Mustang GT COnv.

She has some little things that need attention: like headliner, sunvisor,no key for the doors. The ignition starts without the key. Little bit of body chips and has some bondo and at the bottom of the door it is bubbled up a little. But for most part she is a head turner and loud and fast has hell. MY truck will flat out run.

What do you all think. I have had it for 7 years. I did not do the frame off restoration. I bought it done I rebuilt the engine and added the seats to the truck.

Whats your opinion of my truck I know whats it worth to me money wise but what do you all think.

Chach

Go on Mustanger site and see what they say.lol Seriously,It would be interesting to see.I can only offer my opinion and that is,don`t do it.I would only trade that truck for another nice restored vehicle, not
something anyone can find anywhere.
I`m curious, what are you asking for the truck? This is not a solicitation to buy as we are both currently pinkys.

Re: To Sell/Trade or Not. 1960 Chevy Apache

Thanx guys im still up on the air of trading it. I do have it for sale in The Rv Trader in Ohio and Michigan. I had a guy offer a 94 Mustang GT Convt 5spd. That is why I was asking you guys of your opinion. As for the color it is a believe it or not a Ford Deep Canyon Red color. Thank you guys for your coments, I forget sometimes how nice of a truck it is. I have had for 7 years now I don't drive it much, a shame huh.

Re: To Sell/Trade or Not. 1960 Chevy Apache

Awsome Truck, nice to see someone just down the road with a sweet ride. (Napoleon here)

In the next 2years I will be on my search for a 60-61 Chevy Suburban for doing my own frame off and build. (Have it all planned in my head) Just need the space and $ to do it. If you still have your truck then I would like to take a look at it sometime, not to buy but for some restoration Idea's.

My plan is a 1960/1961 Chevy Suburban w/ 383SB, Mid 80's K20 Running Gear 3.73 gears, & a more modern comfortable interior. (Plan is to build a hunting fishing, outdoor machine that is like no one elses)

Very nice truck. Something in that condition would get a "pretty penny" out here in AZ. What are your seats from? I wouldn't mind getting a set of those in my '65!

Re: To Sell/Trade or Not. 1960 Chevy Apache

The seats I picked them up at a place just north of Cinncinati Ohio. I was coming home from Kentucky when I saw this place that said they had aftermarket seats and bucket seats and bench seats. I stopped in and picked this set up for around if I remeber its been about 7 years $850-950 I can find out more on the name of the seats there is a tag I just can't remeber off hand. It matched my color awsome I got lucky.
