"66 1 ton dually stakebed, no rear shocks?

I'm going over the brakes for starters on this beast, but I see shock lower mounts on the 11,000# axle but no place to mount the tops? I plan to mount only 1 wheel (not budd type) each side of this axle, am going to use it as a backup vehicle until I build the '66 3/4T. After that I will sell this truck, it is getting brakes and front end, steering rehab to make it safer to drive.

I've had a couple of these old duallys that didn't have any provisions for rear shocks. I figure it must have been an option during that time frame.
