Opinion Needed

Would a 565 BBC naturally aspirated and TH400, with stock springs qa1 shocks up front and coilovers in the rear, on a 67-72 lwb. Be a good setup for street/strip?

A good setup? Probably not. A fun setup? You bet! I would install it all and tune as you go.

Re: Opinion Needed

I had a 555 with a turbo 400 and moroso springs with QA1 shocks. It was a blast but the front end setup sucked!!! I went to coil overs and its been awesome ever since.

strip yes, street....not without a GearVendors.

I refuse to drive non-o/d built cars anymore, not turning 3krpms on the highway is really really nice, and on a 565, it might just save your nerves/eardrums.

Re: Opinion Needed

IT would depend on how much street driving you did. I agree overdrive would be nice but it would have to be a 4l80 or the Tci six speed version!
