remove AN adapter from corvette filter

How do you remove the "out" side? There is a lip on the adapter that won't let me remove it. See picture below.

I've tried several different fuel line removal tools and they don't work.

Re: remove AN adapter from corvette filter

You can see the fingers that hold the fitting in in your first picture. I do not believe the tool you were using has long enough fingers?

If you can’t figure it out or someone else doesn’t chime in I’ll see if I can find the tool I use.

You need one of these:

https://www.amazon.com/OTC-6509-Fuel...40988629&psc=1

It is made to fit in tight spaces.

Re: remove AN adapter from corvette filter

probably could have just cut some of the excess off of the end of the tool as it does nothing??
