Interior Upgrade Pics

1: Modified old shifter mount to relocate the shifter rather than drill new holes.

2. Covered the door panels with wal mart material that is darker than it shows in the pic.

7. This is really the only picture I have of the whole truck. It was taken right after I got it. The truck is in storage for the winter and there isn't enough room for me to get a good picture. I plan to have it out in about 2 weeks.

I will have a new challenger chrome steering wheel and after I get a wheel alignment done the rims will be on too, so more pics to follow.

Bahhh, Brandon get a real truck... Just kidding. Looks pretty good, nice job on the door panels, for Wal Mart material, lol.

I like it. I like it.

The GMC lettering on the tailgate really stands out.

Why did you choose to raise the shifter up so high instead of raising it up a little and putting in a longer shifter handle? Not criticizing as much as just curious.

Well, I guess I didn't put a whole lot of thought into it. I tried to get the mount done during break rather than using up class time.
But to me, it is in the perfect position for me now. Almost like driving a consol shift car. I have short arms so it worked out.

Now just get out the torch and make it sit like the truck in your avatar.

I do want to lower it. Not much, but just a little. What I plan to do is see if I can get some used coils and chop them down and install them. That way if it doesn't work out I can always put the originals back in and know it won't be different.

Brandon, just sell the truck and get that Honda that we all know you want... LOL, sorry man, does look good though, lowering the front would make it look totally sick. Thats what I will do to the ole 59' once it is done, lower the front for that mean stance.

I got the tires from work, so I didn't exactly pay full price.....I'll see if I can find the bill.

The 275/60/15's retail for $154 each, I paid $118 a piece.
The 215/70/15's retail for $116, I paid $91 for each.

Those rims would have cost about $752 over the counter with the center caps, valve stems, and chrome valve caps. I paid $515.

Geeze Terry you should stop picking on me, I am the only one that has some faith that your 59 will get done before schools out.

Just some cheap stuff. It is dark black and has the pattern of jeans. I think it was something like $1.98 per yard at 61" wide. Bought 6 yards of black and 2 yards of grey, came to around $14.

Thank you. I think I can drive my truck this weekend but the paint is probably a couple of thousand away so to speak (maybe May). I have your email address and will get in touch within a couple of weeks as soon as I get my camera back. Thanks again Lucky59.

That would be me....hehe.
Radial T/A's are pretty much the only tire I would have the white lettering out.
