Re: Exterior Metal Sun Visor

I fiberglass unit used to be sold by Lund industrys back in the 70's that mounted to the cab, probably not avalable any more. don't think i have ever seen a steel set except for the door windows, pretty sure they are also not reproduced but i could be wrong.

Re: Exterior Metal Sun Visor

Those Lunds were obviously designed for Fords. I remember when they first came out in the '70s. Supervisors were a much better looking fiberglass one for Chevy/GMCs. An outfit called J&J enterprises made primed steel and polished stainless visors in the 80s/90s. They made all sorts of shiny stainless stuff to hang off a dually. I ordered a polished stainless one for ma '70 C/30 but it didn't clear the cab lights. They made me pay freight to return even though they listed it as "fits 67-72 C10-30". I ordered a primed one to modify. They had louvers where I had to cut so welding would be required. They messed up and sent me two and since I knew they didn't like to pay return shipping I kept both (karma). I decided I didn't want one on the C/30, but I used one on a '70 C/10 in my work fleet. The spare one I sold a few years ago to a member in OR.
