Hi Alan, I have been lurking here for a year, needless to say I'm a fan of your work. Plan for now, down to frame, powder coat, air ride, leaning toward's LS motor, back to manual but not 3 on tree , still looking for that perfect color combo.

Welcome. Sorry to hear of your father's passing, but it is great that you were able to get his truck back. Love the airplanes hanging on the wall too.

Craig, thanks for the comment and it sounds like you have a solid plan. Your color will come to ya. Whats' your favorite color?

BTW I wish gun racks would come back in style.

Re: Mesquite 1966 C10

I'm thinking some type of two tone with red and white, just not sure where to make the transition yet. The gun rack is sweet.

Re: Mesquite 1966 C10

I assume most would find this to be extreme modification for power steering?

Re: Mesquite 1966 C10

Got some time to work on the truck today. Spent two hours with power washer before I proceeded to remove the suspension. Could have spent three but my arms were tired

I've still got my old rack from a truck I had years ago, and since it matches up perfectly with holes already drilled in the inside panel, I'll be putting it in Tanya when finished. My wife is dreading it already....

Seriously though, nice work on the progress. That power steering "mod" is rough, what"s your thought on repairing it?
